The MVC is a true cross-over product between the new high resolution multi channel music and traditional 2 channel high-end audio. It is a truly impressive preamp for stereo applications, with the convenience of a remote, 1 db step size and additional channels for bi-amping or subwoofers. The audio performance with 120 db signal-to-noise is amazing at this price point. For multi channel applications, an 8 channel volume control with separate trims and a second optional 7.1 input is a real problem solver. With channel duplication and mixing, extra subs, side channels, center rears or any new configuration is accommodated. And if eight channels are not enough, a second MVC can be slaved to the first for 16 channels.

Digitally controlled analog potentiometers provide the best of both worlds -the analog performance you desire combined with digital simplicity, ease of use, and reliability. Precision volume control is achieved without digital signal processing or messy A/D-D/A conversions that reduce bandwidth and performance.
